Doha Metro and Lusail Tram – Doha, Qatar

A consortium between RATPDev, Keolis and Hamad Group Trading, RKH Qitarat operates and maintains the Doha Metro and Lusail Tram. RKH Qitarat’s client is Qatar Rail, the state-owned railway company responsible for rail transport in Qatar. Established in 2011, the company led the design, construction, commissioning, and now leads the operation and maintenance of the entire rail network and systems.

High Speed 2 (HS2) Railway – Birmingham & London, United Kingdom

HS2 is a new high speed railway line under development, which will run between London and Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds. Commercial Management during the procurement phase for Light Rail Systems, an amalgamation of Railway System contracts focused on electronic engineering disciplines, often involving software development at the forefront of railway technology. Packages being procured and managed post-contract include Operational Telecoms (OpComms), Command, Control & Signalling (CCS), Engineering Management System (EMS) and Global System for Mobile Communications-Railway (GSM-R).

Network Rail – Infrastructure Maintenance – London, United Kingdom

2022 – Maintenance Services

Track, Off-Track and Signalling maintenance works within the London Bridge outer area of the Kent Route for all preventative and corrective maintenance as-well as fault response. Delivering effective maintenance services to ensure maximum Infrastructure availability and reliability for both Train Operating Companies (TOC) and Freight Operating Companies (FOC).

Dubai Metro – Dubai, UAE

A rapid transit rail network in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is currently operated by a consortium of the French company, Keolis, and Japanese Company, MHI, as Keolis-MHI.

Etihad Rail, Phases 2B and 2C – Dubai and Abu Dhabi, UAE

2021 – Contract & Commercial

Etihad Rail’s 1,200 km network extending across the United Arab Emirates, from the border of Saudi Arabia to the border of Oman (respective 216km and 94km sections of the project in the UAE).

Dubai Mall – Dubai, UAE

The Dubai Mall Boulevard Expansion project included the conversion of multiple levels of existing car parking to a double-height retail mall. The boulevard expansion assumes a key position in the further development of the Dubai Mall by forming an active link to both Emaar Boulevard and the Fountain Views expansion. The Dubai Mall Boulevard Expansion project has created a compelling new retail and lifestyle experience and further strengthens Dubai’s core economic sectors, including retail, tourism and hospitality.

La Mer, Jumeira – Dubai, UAE

2018 – Contract & Commercial

Land reclamation and mixed-use development including underground parking, retail and leisure facilities. La Mer is a world-class beachfront in the prestigious Jumeira 1 neighbourhood that incorporates a minimalist and contemporary design with shops, restaurants and cafés, leisure and entertainment stretching along 2.5 kilometres of sandy beach.

Class 700 Desiro City, Siemens Mobility, Thameslink Programme – London, United Kingdom

2017 – Engineering, Asset Management & Maintenance Services, Engineering Change Management

The Department for Transport contracted Siemens plc and Cross London Trains (a consortium comprising Siemens Project Ventures GmbH, Innisfree Limited and 3i Infrastructure plc) to build 115 state-of-the-art trains (1,140 carriages) for the Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) routes. Under this agreement, Siemens was also contracted to provide train care facilities and ongoing maintenance to GTR and separately to deliver advanced signalling solutions to Network Rail.

Railway System, Lisbon Metropolitan Area – Lisbon, Portugal

2013-2017 – Engineering, Asset Management & Maintenance Services, Engineering Change & Project Management

A rapid transit rail network system consisting of four lines totalling 44.5 kilometres of route and serving 56 stations, connecting several cities across Portugal. It is currently operated by both private and public companies.

Sena Railway Line Rehabilitation (Tete-Beira) – Mozambique, Africa

2014-2015 – Engineering, Asset Management & Maintenance Services, Engineering Change & Project Management

Rehabilitation of railway infrastructure on the Sena railway line between Beira and Tete to open the most direct road/rail route to the port of Beira and thereby significantly reducing the cost of transport, resulting in improved economic competitiveness, and enhancing opportunities for income generation and employment (achieving 20 million tons per year whilst improving safety conditions). This project also included a unique innovative railway solution on the biggest metallic bridge in Africa (Dona Ana Railway Bridge) which spans the lower Zambezi River, effectively linking the two halves of the country.
